Some weeks ago, we wrote a review about the fantastic EP of Skrillex “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites” released on Deadmau5’s label. One of the remix of this EP has been done by one of the most famous trio of drum and base in the Netherlands, but also well-known on the worldwide scene. Please welcome Noisia. Indeed, they have been awarded by a lot of prize like “Best Tech DJ” in the UK National D&B Awards in 2009 and “Best Drum&Bass Artist” on Beatport. This group is composed of Nik Roos, Martijn van Sonderen and Thijs de Vlieger. This interview follows notably the one of Avicii, Fedde le Grand and Michael Woods.

Opened in 1988, The Rex Club is the French temple for electronic music and remains the club where to play for top DJ’s from all over the world. It is for us the best place for electronic music in Paris. After 22 years dedicated to electronic music, The Rex Club is proud to present the second chapter of his eponymous mixed compilation series « REXPERIENCE », mixed by Jennifer Cardini. The first version has been remixed by D’Julz. We had already the chance to hear it, but it will be only released globally apparently on the 28th of March 2011. And yesterday there was the launch party in the Rex Club, with Jennifer and Ame notably.

If there is one thing I will always fight for on this website it is the diversity, the richness and the eclecticism of the electronic music. The new compilation of Robag Wruhme with an unpronounceable name “Wuppdeckmischmampflow” is the perfect example. Thanks to Kompakt Recordings, we received two copies of this mix CD that you can win. After a full year of electronic music, which I think was globally worst in term of quality and commercial tracks, than last year (you just need to listen to the radio), I made my selection of the 20 best tracks of the year 2010, mostly from Germany. As you will see in the playlist, all songs are from 2010, with 2 exceptions: the first track from dOP who has reached the upper class in 2010 and the track of Black Raw that I discovered by chance. The rest is a very good 2010 vintage wine.

A few days ago, I was reading an article about Superpitcher, in which he talked about Rebolledo as the man of the moment! So I decided to contact Kompakt Recordings in order to obtain an exclusive interview with the Mexican DJ and producer, part of the Comeme crew. He likes eclectic, so do we. Static Revenger & Richard Vission feat Luciana “I Like That”, with new remixes, will be out on Toolroom Records later this week. More precisely, it will be released on 15th December 2010 as Beatport Exclusive tracks. Richard Vission & Static Revenger (Dennis White) hail from Los Angeles with roots that stretch much further back - Richard being one of the most in demand DJs in North America and Dennis being responsible for the classic “Happy People” and travelling the world playing live for Detroit Techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson's Inner City first world tour.

I had never heard before of The Japanese Popstars band, until the discovery a few days ago of their video for their electro-rock track "Let Go". The clip that you can watch in the following article features the techno artist Green Velvet on vocals, best known for his techno anthem "La la land". This track has been created over an intensive 20 day period in September 2010 and has been published under Virgin Records. It follows their latest EP "Destroy EP".
