Between live performances and albums rich in musical influences, we have almost forgotten that Nôze (Nicolas Sfintescu and Ezéchiel Pailhès) was also known for their fever mixes. Having launched the pseudonym back in 2006, alongside his label Parquet Recordings, Solee has gone on to become a name synonymous with quality uplifting and emotional techno. He has lent his talents to remixing the likes of Nick Warren, Danny Tenaglia and Gui Boratto and has seen his own productions feature on legendary labels including Yoshitoshi and Renaissance. Sardinian producer Alessio Mereu had a number of successful 12" EPs under his belt on labels like Contexterrior and Tuning Spork before dropping his first full-length Tripolarity last summer. Caned in the clubs by DJs like Maetrik, Tim Green and Paco Osuna among others, Mereu’s reputation internationally as a maestro of contemporary acid grooves was sealed. Now he’s known far beyond his native Mediterranean shores, DJing throughout Europe and producing releases for techno titans Cocoon Records and Poker Flat.
