Pryda, that we know also under the famous nickname Eric Prydz, has just released a new EP : « Inspiration EP » with 2 tracks. There are “Inspiration”, and a 2010 version of “RYMD”. This reworked version gives birth to a progressive and detonating track. During the Miami Winter Conference that is currently going on now, Eric Prydz certainly played one of these. In the next days there will be many tracks to be released especially from the Swedish House Mafia. The year 2010 of electronic music is finally launched...

After having delighted us with their video clip « Highway », Fortune is once again at the top of the electronic music news with the teaser clip of his debut album "Staring at the ice melt", which has just been released last week. Still evolving in a psychedelic world, this music clip offers a catchy music with new wave influences with synths. After the consecration the French guys from Nantes : Pony Pony Run Run for « Out of control », that we reviewed, West of France is once again on the front of the French electronic music scene, with this explosive trio.

Jamaica "I Think I Like U2" is the first single from the new French group previously called Poney Poney. This group is a duo composed by Antoine Hilaire et Flo Lyonnet. The clip has been shot by So Me, well known on Ed Bangers Recording as he is the main designer and Thomas Jumin, designer too and known by the nickname Machine Molle. The track announces the release of their debut album. It will be produced by Xavier de Rosnay (half of Justice) and Peter Franco. I just feel that right now we talk a lot of pop music, but it's not really my favorite style! For sure tomorrow, we go back house music. Buggin', new baby of the label Help Me! Music, will release his first EP at the end of March. This article is quiet unusual because it is a promo that I received by mail and by chance. Listening this EP, the track "S.A.Y.S." draws my attention thanks to its musical quality: a track mixing electro and new wave that will kill your headphones. It is therefore a great surprise that’s why I review it today. Buggin’ is a promising artist for sure.

Robyn has used the launch of the redesign of her website www.robyn.com to launch her new track "Fembot". This track and the opening of this website are also precursors of the launch of her fourth upcoming album which should be released shortly. This track is therefore an “aperitif” following what we should hear from the Swedish artist especially since Robyn had offered us at the beginning of 2010, “No hassle” featuring Diplo.

We had talked recently of "Stylo" the last track of Gorillaz remixed by the English producer Louis La Roche. Today's article reviews the original track and the accompanying video. The group Gorillaz released in early March 2010 his 3rd album “Plastic Beach” with a briskly promotion. This album consists of prestigious collaborations as Snoop Dogg, De La Soul, Public Enemy, or Barry Gibb, one of the bearded members of Bee Gees!

I must admit that the French award of the Victoires de la Musique 2010, which took place last week, gave us a nice surprise with the presence of the french band Pony Pony Run Run. Plus their presence, they have been awarded with the prize of the Group's public revelation of 2010, notably because of their first album "You need Pony Pony Run Run" released in June 2009. Replaying their album I re-discovered the excellent track "Out of Control" which cleverly blends pop, new wave and electro music.
