We had talked recently of "Stylo" the last track of Gorillaz remixed by the English producer Louis La Roche. Today's article reviews the original track and the accompanying video. The group Gorillaz released in early March 2010 his 3rd album “Plastic Beach” with a briskly promotion. This album consists of prestigious collaborations as Snoop Dogg, De La Soul, Public Enemy, or Barry Gibb, one of the bearded members of Bee Gees!

I must admit that the French award of the Victoires de la Musique 2010, which took place last week, gave us a nice surprise with the presence of the french band Pony Pony Run Run. Plus their presence, they have been awarded with the prize of the Group's public revelation of 2010, notably because of their first album "You need Pony Pony Run Run" released in June 2009. Replaying their album I re-discovered the excellent track "Out of Control" which cleverly blends pop, new wave and electro music.

Sweet is a term that would summarize perfectly the track"Happy House" by The Juan Maclean released in 2008. New York artist, whose real name is John MacLean, was the last weekend in Paris @ Showcase for a crazy evening. The man who creates an electronic music that mixed disco and house, officiates on DFA Records, where there is also The Rapture and LCD Soundsystem. He distills us sparingly sensual electronic sounds.

Our English genius, Louis La Roche back in early 2010 with his new "Super Soaker EP” release under the young label Ever After Records. It announces the release of his first album probably in March 2010 that will include a featuring of Yann Destal (singer from Modjo) for the track "My turn", which is eagerly awaited. We had already talked about Louis La Roche for his "Me and her" release, believing that he should show us other facets of his talent. So it’s quiet done with this "Super Soaker EP”, but also because recently he broadcast a remix of Gozillaz “Stylo” and a remix of Michael Jackson "Thriller" that you can download in the following  article.

Third track of the last album of Air "Love 2", the track "So is her footfall light" will be released too on a EP with a remix of Breakbot and one of our friend Metronomy, who recently astonished us with his "Heartbreaker" track. Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoit Dunckel, Air alias, had indeed released their sixth album early in October 2009, after two years of silence. This EP with two remixes and the original track is a good musical surprise, especially since the productions offered are quite different from each other. Special reward for the remix of Metronomy.

Yeasayer and the track "Ambling Alp" is a real UFO music because of the rhythm such as the video clip that go with it. Author of the first opus "All Hour Cymbals," the American guys come back on the electronic music scene with a new euphoric single. This quartet from Brooklyn released in early February 2010 the album "Odd Blood" from which is extracted this production, which should make some noise in certain cottages. This album has been released on Naïve. It offers tracks that mixes brilliantly  rock and electro pop.

Booka Shade who just announced the release of his 4th upcoming album "More!" offers for free an exclusive track "Regenerate" on his website. The album "More!" and it was expected, will be released under Get Physical on April 23 in Germany and elsewhere in the world, on May 3. "Regenerate" is the third track of the album and follows the fantastic « Donut » which we already reviewed few days ago. The release of this album will be for sure promising. Please note that the first true single will be released on April 19. This track will be "Bad Love" with a featuring of Chelonis R. Jones.
