Heller and Farley - Tears (A Deep House Compilation)
Deep House - alongside Brazil and World Cup, they seem to be the most over-used two words of 2014. But what is 'Deep House'? A man should know more about it, as he was there at its birth: he is Tyree Cooper. Tyree usually warmed up rooms with spinning mid-tempo, or early 80s Disco tracks, as he puts “House Music“, stating 'it's the music Frankie played before anyone had made a House record'. Four decades after the Warehouse in Chicago closed, Deep House now means everything from European 120BPM Tech House to UK House that ex-Grime kids now make and of course, “Trad Deep House“ likes the American stalwarts still make.

Gui Boratto - Abaporu
>The architect of the Brazilian groove, Gui Boratto, returns with a new LP as effective as his previous releases on Kompakt Records! His new piece, "Abaporu", an exotic and colorful day, cadenced by 13 richly orchestrated club tracks, reveals his penchant for kitsches and catchy melodies such as infectious rhythms that characterize him since "Chromophobia", released in 2007. A very beautiful album that will perfectly decorated your Christmas tree for the end of 2014.

Apollonia - Tour a tour
Apollonia, the French trio of Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom and Shonky, are set to release their debut artist album “Tour à Tour” in October. «Tour à Tour » (meaning to take turns, or ‘alternate’) represents the idea of a continuous motion of music between them, a never-ending circle that flows and becomes hypnotic…  This album represents the way they approach their DJ performance - a unity between them and they work like one artist; the music they play holds no boundaries of time, respecting music old and new.

Noah Pred - Third culture
With no doubt one of the biggest surprises of this year. The album of Noah Pred received as a promo. Just fantastic. Here is the review. It's been four long years since Noah's last album, “Blind alignments”, was released here on Thoughtless, and much has happened since: extensive tour dates, numerous singles and collaborations, a lingering break-up, a move across the Atlantic, 80 releases here on Pred's Thoughtless imprint, tests of new music technology, and the sudden death of his father – all this and more transpired as his latest full-length effort, “Third culture”, took shape. It was released on the 4th of November 2013.

Discodeine - Swimmer
Pilooski and Pentile, aka Discodeine, adopted the swimmer position to drag us into deep waters. If their self-titled debut album was dragging us with Jarvis Cocker and Matias Aguayo and attractive hybrid territories between pop and electro to reveal  some joyful sounds like "Synchronize" or "Singular". Their second album takes us a little further into the abyss, where East and West are one, especially with "Aydin", the first single released, featuring Kevin Parker, where the boundaries between genres have finally exploded. The album was released as physical and digital versions the 21st of October 2013 on the labels Dirty and Pschent.

Kolsch - 1977
Speicher staple and renowned club juggernaut, Kolsch debuts on Kompakt with the full-length “1977”, an extraordinary collection of club gems that introduces his earlier masterpieces like “Loreley” or “Opa” that we reviewed previously, such as exclusive new material. Here, the epic, the rad and the snappy find themselves under one expertly crafted groove, making this album an essential choice for both home clubbers and floor hounds… your new best friend is here and it’s a record. This was above all one of the most anticipated albums just before summer. It has been released the 24th June 2013 to be precise.
