As you will see in the following article, the playlist is very interesting, notably with tracks of Duoteque and Paul Nazca. This heavy minimal - tech house compilation, promises to be one the biggest reference of electronic music.

This is the hottest news in the electronic music world. Indeed, since this week, the first 6 tracks of the original soundtrack of "Tron Legacy", produced by Daft Punk, are online. After receiving an unknown email on Actualites Electroniques, I was directed to a Sound Cloud address with 6 extracts which apparently would be the first tracks of Daft Punk’s soundtrack album. After some researches on the net, it appears that I am not the only one who has received this kind of message. By combining different sources, it seems that it is officially Daft Punk’s tracks. What is more surprising is that these tracks are now also available on the official Tron webpage.

It has taken nearly four years to see Trentemoller release a new album. The upcoming album entitled "Into The Great Wide Yonder" is scheduled to be released in late May 2010. The Danish producer always discreet, offers us an album of 10 tracks under his own label "In My Room". A few weeks ago was released the first single "Sycamore feeling". Its video clip is visible in the following review. This track was remixed notably by Gui Boratto and also Thomas Schumacher. It uses the voice of the Danish singer Marie Fisker. Moreover, the album includes a few other guest appearances.

Some day ago, The Chemical Brothers announced the release of their seventh studio album “Further”, on June 8, 2010 on Freestyle Dust, Parlaphone, Astralwerks Recordings. This album is the band’s first to be released with corresponding films made specifically to match each of the 8 audio tracks. The films will be included on an iTunes LP and special edition DVD. For a band used to dealing in psychedelics, this time around The Chemical Brothers have really pushed the proverbial envelope.

This is a special article because it's not really a review of a particular release, but only a set, mixed by myself. Entitled "2009 is over”, it is the best of electronic music of this year 2009, with some exceptions, like Kiki track released in 2007. Otherwise everything else is new. During these 2 hours of mix, moving from a minimalist tech-house sprinkled with a techno vibe to pure house, some electro towards the end before finishing with the iconic Vitalic "Second Live".
