Gusgus - Interview
Started as a leftfield music project in the early 90s, Reykjavik-based GusGus have emerged to be at the forefront of the international electronic dance community. Today, the Icelandic group has nine full-length LPs under its belt, first debuting on legendary indie label 4AD before developing in a more dance-orientated outfit, switching labels a few times before finally signing to Kompakt with 2009's “24/7“. Following 2011 best seller ”Arabian Horse“, Birgir Thorarinsson, Daníel Ágúst, Högni Egilsson and Stephan Stephensen release their third full-length album „Mexico“ via Kompakt in 2014.

Sasch - Take a Message EP
The effervescent Sasch has steadily made a name for himself since joining the Steyoyoke crew. His passion for making music speaks loud and clear, which is highlighted in his consistency to produce tracks that derive from the groove in his heart. The young producer jumps back into the frame of things with his latest EP “Take a Message”. Easily classed as a carefree and bubbly arrangement, it would be the perfect accompaniment on a long drive, with the stereo at full volume. It features three originals from Sasch and a tidy remix from Talul and has been released on Steyoyoke, May 12th, 2014.

Noah Pred - Third culture
With no doubt one of the biggest surprises of this year. The album of Noah Pred received as a promo. Just fantastic. Here is the review. It's been four long years since Noah's last album, “Blind alignments”, was released here on Thoughtless, and much has happened since: extensive tour dates, numerous singles and collaborations, a lingering break-up, a move across the Atlantic, 80 releases here on Pred's Thoughtless imprint, tests of new music technology, and the sudden death of his father – all this and more transpired as his latest full-length effort, “Third culture”, took shape. It was released on the 4th of November 2013.

Discodeine - Swimmer
Pilooski and Pentile, aka Discodeine, adopted the swimmer position to drag us into deep waters. If their self-titled debut album was dragging us with Jarvis Cocker and Matias Aguayo and attractive hybrid territories between pop and electro to reveal  some joyful sounds like "Synchronize" or "Singular". Their second album takes us a little further into the abyss, where East and West are one, especially with "Aydin", the first single released, featuring Kevin Parker, where the boundaries between genres have finally exploded. The album was released as physical and digital versions the 21st of October 2013 on the labels Dirty and Pschent.
