Kolombo - Interview
Thanks to the Belgian label Union Match Music, a young label from Brussels, we get an exclusive interview with Olivier Gregoire aka Kolombo. I wanted to begin by thanking the label and Kolombo who answers our questions. First interview of its kind, Actualites Electroniques will continue to make some interviews of producers, DJs and artists from the electronic music scene. They will give us their vision of the electronic music world. Next week, I will share with you a DJ set from Compuphonic, once again thanks to the Belgian recordings. Please find in the following article the full interview of Kolombo. Have a good reading.

Deadmau5 and Wolfgang Gartner - Animal rights
This is a new electro bomb that I’ve just discovered today : a collaboration between Deadmau5 and Wolfgang Gartner for the track "Animal rights". This production will be released on Beatport September 6, and as often, was played for the first time yesterday on Radio 1 during the show of Vernon Kay, who broadcasted the live of Deadmau5 @ Creamfields. It is the hottest electro track of the moment, which will probably be quickly played by many DJs. Actualites Electroniques is one of the first websites to inform you about this new release.

Tracey Thorn - Why does the wind (Morgan Geist Remix)
Tracey Thorn is none other than the former singer of the group Everything but the Girl, which has unfortunately disappeared in 2002. This crystal-clear voice of the English singer and song writer, returned in June with a solo EP "Why Does the Wind?" and a remix by Morgan Geist. The original version is extract from her album "Love and Its Opposite", released in May 2010. Tracey Thorn has lost none of her luster after 18 years of loyal service alongside Ben Watt, whose career was put in brackets for family life in 2000. There were a first come back in 2007 with a disco folk album "Out Of The Woods", and then this new album. Tracey Thorn marks strongly her return into the international electronic music scene.

Format B - Dog Tag (Sebastien Leger remix)
Format B "Dog Tag" and its remix by Sebastien Leger were highly anticipated by the electronic music community. Now the track is available in its original version and its remixed one. Indeed, both productions have been signed under the label Formatik Germany, at the beginning of this week. The remix comes back to the musical sources of Sebastien Leger, with a completely techno and underground atmosphere quiet similar to his old release “Bad clock”. What a pleasure to hear these sounds and samples once again. Indeed, Sebastien offered us these last months more progressive tracks on his own label Mistakes Music.

Rodriguez Jr - Boxer Champions Selection
If there's one artist we love particularly on Actualites Electroniques, it is with no doubt Rodriguez Jr. French DJ and producer, he has just released its "Boxer Champions Selection", an album only sold as a digital version and which consists of a selection of the best songs of the German Boxer Recordings label during the last 8 years. As you will see in the following article, the playlist is very interesting, notably with tracks of Duoteque and Paul Nazca. This heavy minimal - tech house compilation, promises to be one the biggest reference of electronic music.
