Talisco - My home EP
Great surprise of the day thanks to Roy Music. The new EP "My home" from an artist that I’ve just discovered, Talisco, both sweet, pop and electronic. The EP is a kind of a musical road trip transporting us in the wide open spaces of the American West. Country fan during my spare time, there are some rhythms similar to this American style that give to the various tracks of the EP a real freshness. A little nice Frenchy producer that gives us some great folk-pop melodies tinged with electro beats. Some will even argue they feel the shores of California with a freak folk ambiance other will say the psychedelic volutes of the guru Devendra Banhart.

Marboss - Fukushima Daiichi EP
Marboss is a major contributor to the French electro scene of the east. He uses cutting-edge music technology in the creation of innovative compositions, via sound-design, DJing and VJing techniques, demonstrating that he is a veritable sound scientist. In this second album named "Electrotherapies" (Dreaming, 2008), the artist that created the official hymn for the arrival of the TGV (The world's fastest train! ) in the Lorraine region of France, presents his new electronic concept. On April 3, 2011, Marboss presented its "electronic sound sculptures" entitled "Fukushima Daiichi" at a charity concert given at the Arsenal de Metz and organized with the association Metz-Lorraine-Japan and the city of Metz. It is an overview of the musical Fukushima nuclear accident of March 11, 2011. It’s the subject of our review.

Hypnolove - Holiday Reverie EP
Hypnolove are a cult band from Toulouse, in the southwest France. Their first album "Eurolove" included the French pop song 'Mademoiselle' which featured across French National radio stations, a Kiss cover, a Feist featuring (but sshh, no one is allowed to mention her real name, she became famous just after recording it) and even a punk track! The album was going places. Nothing short of brilliant, but alas, audiences had a hard time understanding the logic of it, which of course was simply the songs, the taste, the musicality and the TALENT! Here is their new EP “Holiday Reverie” released on June 14th as vinyl and 4 days later as digital. It’s hot… very very hot…

Busy P - Pedrophilia (SebastiAn Remix)
For the launch of its latest smartphone, the Nokia N8, the Finnish firm has used YouTube. Through an interactive movie of 2 min, Nokia allows users, via a button "See More" to flip back and forth between the classical world and the HD one. This clip is based on a very good music "Pedrophilia" released in June 2008 by Daft Punk’s manager Pedro Winter on the label Because Music, Ed Banger Records. It is remixed by SebastiAn. You should also know that this principle of using a double player, was designed by the advertising agency JWT Paris. You can see the video clip in the following article.

The Japanese Popstars feat Green Velvet - Let Go
I had never heard before of The Japanese Popstars band, until the discovery a few days ago of their video for their electro-rock track "Let Go". The clip that you can watch in the following article features the techno artist Green Velvet on vocals, best known for his techno anthem "La la land". This track has been created over an intensive 20 day period in September 2010 and has been published under Virgin Records. It follows their latest EP "Destroy EP".

Black Strobe - Me and Madonna (Remix EP)
Received as a promo, the new EP of Arnaud Rebotini, half of Black Strobe with Ivan Smagghe, is just amazing. Indeed, they are re-releasing Black Strobe's 2002 hit “Me & Madonna”, in December on Kitsuné, with remixes from The Twelves, Grand Crue, Tape 2 Tape and Jolie Cherie. This is the start of a very busy 12 months for Arnaud as he has a new solo album out early next year, a new Black Strobe album and a Black Strobe best of later in the year. Moreover, in a few days we will have the chance to interview Arnaud, so don’t hesitate to share with us some questions that we will ask him.

Daft Punk - Dazed and Confused (Photo shoot)
A few days ago the French duo Daft Punk gave an exclusive interview to the British magazine Dazed & Confused. The originality of this interview is that the pictures that go with the article have been published in 3D. Just one month before the launch of "Tron legacy" in the U.S., for which they have composed the soundtrack, Daft Punk create once again the buzz around them with a unique photo shoot, directed by Sharif Hamza in Los Angeles. The article consists of 8 shots and has been sold with 3D glasses. We’ve also heard some whispers about a Daft Punk’s world tour...
