Klasse Recordings third release, “Heaven and Hell EP” from Luca Lozano, showcases the talents of label coowner and creative director. The EP's title hints at the Producer’s obsession with opposites, clarity and contrast. Heaven and Hell, life and death; cycles, patterns and parallels emerging as repeated themes within Luca's music. This EP will be out as vinyl edition first on 14th Dec 2010 and then as digital version only on 12th Jan 2011, in download platforms like Decks and Believe.

From their critically acclaimed fourth studio album “More!”, that we reviewed some weeks ago, Booka Shade’s final release of 2010 is “Regenerate”. It comes with a remix package from the veritable who’s who on the hot remixer tip right now including Popof, Kris Menace, Pan-Pot and Lazersonic & Zak Frost. This fantastic EP has been released on November 23rd on Beatport and will be available as general and limited edition vinyl release on December 6th. As usual with the German duo, it will be released under Coop / Get Physical Music Records.

Some days ago, two upfront producers from Greece, GummiHz and Nikola Gala have release their new EP “Sapfo EP” on the German young label Claap. Indeed, on its first installment, claap001 features a collaboration between two of Greece's finest exports in house and techno: label owner GummiHz and Nikola Gala offer a 3 tracker that’s bound to make floors shake. New release of the young Belgian label Union Match Music, "Sequoia" is an EP produced by the great man Compuphonic. The EP that will be released with remixes of Glimpse and Lee Jones should quickly enter the charts of many DJs, including me! These productions that operate in a deep and minimal atmosphere will satisfy all the lovers of these styles. Supported by Damian Lazarus, Nick Curly or Simon Baker, this EP is about emotions. Some days ago, the new EP “Haute Couture EP” of Nicole Moudaber has been released on iVAV Recordings, the label manage by Steve Lawler. Indeed, iVAV welcome a lady who most definitely has the VIVa fever! Nicole Moudaber has been a regular artist on the VIVa imprints since her 2008 release “Boxer Girl” and “Indecent Exposure”. It is the first time we speak about the girl who recently follows Carl Cox for his tour “The Revolution Continues”. On the occasion of DJ Awards 2010 ceremony that held @ Pacha Ibiza a few days ago, the results of this ranking has been delivered and rewarded various artists from the electronic music world. It has emanated from the ranking, the nomination of the best track of the year. The track awarded is the one of the German producer Butch and its track "No worries". Butch is a very good DJ and producer that we discovered in 2007 and his second track "On the Line" that has been released with a massive remix of Oxia, a classical minimal track. To tell you everything we’ve heard "No worries" before, but it did not particularly catch our attention at first.

This new production of Kris Menace, we must admit, surprised us. First of all, it is rare to see German artists release their tracks under Size Records the label headed by the Swedes. The new EP from Kris Menace is entitled "Masquerade" and is in line with the previous productions of the label run by Steve Angello. Until then Kris Menace, resident in Paris, had used to produce house music and funky tracks. The three tracks of "Masquerade" on this EP are now squarely in a different artistic direction. It is a funny turnaround for this artist, which stood as one the pillar producers of house music in the best sense of the term.
