You will find in this category each week, a review on an "UFO" track that is breaking the news. All styles are on the “menu” of this category: minimal, house, electro, techno or even trance in some cases.
The topic will be supplemented by other albums following the latest electronic music news.
Jamaica "I Think I Like U2" is the first single from the new French group previously called Poney Poney. This group is a duo composed by Antoine Hilaire et Flo Lyonnet. The clip has been shot by So Me, well known on Ed Bangers Recording as he is the main designer and Thomas Jumin, designer too and known by the nickname Machine Molle. The track announces the release of their debut album. It will be produced by Xavier de Rosnay (half of Justice) and Peter Franco. I just feel that right now we talk a lot of pop music, but it's not really my favorite style! For sure tomorrow, we go back house music. The review will be on the latest production of Pryda : “Inspiration EP”.
The world of electronic music is a small world. Indeed, So Me, the core designer of Ed Bangers Record and their many sleeves, is also an artist known for his productions and remixes. He notably made a remix of Klaxons “Golden Skans To Interzone” and designs the t-shirts that you can see in the video clip of Justice "DANCE”. And precisely, the half of this French duo Justice gives a hand to Jamaica to produce the album of this new group.
Regarding the track itself, as we said before, this is a track rather pop, with some samples of electronic music, all spiced with a touch of funk music. The track is amplified with an interesting video clip that you can watch below.
