Omar S, whose real name is Omar Alex Smith just released "I hate" a track in a classic style of house music from Detroit, who is also his hometown. The American DJ and producer of electronic music delivers an underground production that alternates between deep house and minimal techno. The vinyl where there is this track has been released under his own label named FXHE Records. Once again, the cover looks like a white label with no information!

The square is for Etienne de Crecy, the triangle is for Daft Punk a new tool of communication. Indeed, during his last tour, the producer born in Lyon delivered his sets within a square of light. During these trips, Etienne de Crecy had the opportunity to replay its flagship tracks such as "Price Shock", which will remain forever engraved in our memories, like the famous "Am I wrong? . The French producer, had issued in 1997 a top-flight production on his album "Super Discount" and then "Fast track" on the opus "Super Discount 2" in 2004.

A few days ago Chromeo, the Canadian duo, formed of Pee Thugg (Patrick Gemayel) and Dave 1 broadcast for the first time the video clip of his latest single "Night By Night". The title was released on the label Green Label Sound. It was available to users for free  in September 2009. Now, the title will be accompanied by a video clip produced by El Nino and directed by Surface To Air, which features both Canadian.

After the release of “Toolroom Knights” mixed By Mark Knight, Toolroom Records ran a special remix competition of Mark's exclusive track “Mannheim” during summer. The response was truly overwhelming and over 100 remixes came through to Toolroom website. After taking us an age to get through them the label finally picked the worthy winners!  There were 5 winners who have seen their productions released on a special dedicated EP. The original of Mark Knight was available since June and the remixes were available at the end of September on a very interesting EP.

This is a special article because it's not really a review of a particular release, but only a set, mixed by myself. Entitled "2009 is over”, it is the best of electronic music of this year 2009, with some exceptions, like Kiki track released in 2007. Otherwise everything else is new. During these 2 hours of mix, moving from a minimalist tech-house sprinkled with a techno vibe to pure house, some electro towards the end before finishing with the iconic Vitalic "Second Live".

We already talked about this little English prodigy named Louis La Roche. When I was reading a music review, I hear again one of his very good recent productions released on "Me and Her EP" produced under Everafter Records. Although barely 18 years, this young producer makes us dream again 10 years after the French Touch was. It must be admitted that these productions are really close to a Thomas Bangalter style, adding a touch of Anglo Saxon music.

The new production of Jerome Sydenham - Deep fried is now available in digital version and will soon be available on vinyl for electronic music fans, on December 12. It seems that the English label UK Promotions is a label where you can find the darkest tracks by Jerome Sydenham and his most fearless interpretations of house music. The EP "Deep fried" verifies once again this rule. Our favorite track is definitely the B side with the title "Powerless", more dynamic and more psychedelic than "Deep fried" actually rather flat.
