After his massive club hit "Wildfang", Oliver Schories strikes back, with a promo we received some days ago. Indeed, his next masterpiece will be released on Parquet Recordings in January, incl. the incredible singles "Tremodo" and "Low Memory" and a hypnotic monster remix by Douglas Greed (Freude Am Tanzen / Infine / Dekadent). The label managed by Solee, we interviewed some weeks ago, informed us to watch out also for new releases in 2011 coming from Boss Axis, Takt Tick (incl. Egostereo Remix), Sivesgaard (incl. Ricardo Tobar & Oliver Schories remix), new singles by himself and a massive remix by Egostereo from his track "Legends", and a new "Re:Cognition - by Solee" compilation, to be released on his own label Parquet Recordings...

Having been influenced by those various styles within the last decade of DJ‘ing, 1982 born Oliver has today a huge musical background which he uses for his productions as well as for his DJ-Sets. They are always unique. With releases on “Ostwind Records“, "Parquet Recordings" and “Musik gewinnt Freunde”, Hamburg-based Oliver Schories finally found his home in 2010 after years of experimenting with different electronic music styles like Drum n‘ Bass, 2Step and New Rave Electronica. More productions from Oliver are coming up, such as a remix for Klugermann (voltage musique 034), a re-edit for Pablo Bolivar (elevation recordings) and a remix for Taktmodul (tanztrieb tonträger).

Whether it’s behind the turntables or in the Studio, Oliver likes versatile, techno infused tracks with room for deep elements as well as pure dancefloor work. His style is warm and subtle but at the same time very energetic.

The first track “Tremodo” follows this trend, with a dark atmosphere and some samples of water drops. The track, of about 10 minutes, is also composed of a sweet female vocal that fits at the end with a lovely piano. Then “Low memory”, in its original version, begins with a night atmosphere. You can hear for instance some sounds of crickets such as dark voice that give a positive vibe to the tune quite funky!

The EP concludes with the best track of this trio. Indeed, the remix of Douglas Greed mixes perfectly a funky ambiance with a minimal and techno spirit that will make you dance… inevitably.
