Boss Axis - Casino EP

After hitting "Beatport´s" techno charts with their "We love Japan" charity-track "Keep Going", Boss Axis delivers a new stunning EP with 4 melodic-techno tracks with wonderful harmonies and deep-moody soundbuildings! The duo originally formed of 3 guys: Janero, Moneo and Marc de Vole and now only composed of two: Janero and Marc, will indeed release in a few day their new “Casino EP”, under the imprint Parquet Recordings, managed by our friend Solee. Don’t miss it!

In the summer of 2008, long-time german DJ’s and producers Marc de Vole, Janero and Moneo decided to blend their different musical genres and founded the project “Boss Axis”. This name is a reference to the significance of music in their lives, because for the three artists, it is compensation for their stressful everyday lives.

The two remaining producers are now proud to present you their new "Casino EP", an exclusive EP with their 4 latest releases: "But Before", "Continuance", "Casino" and "Aira". More precisely concerning each track, here is a review about each of them.

“Aira” uses fantastic notes looking like trumpet or organ. It is for us the second best track of the album. It is some kind of a musical airstream. Then, “But before” is a bit more melodic and punchier thanks to the guitar riffs that composed the main part of the track. It gives birth to a very rhythmic production. “Continuance” is a housier track that bounces and bounces. It is the funkier track of the EP, with massive notes in his break, that we truly love. You need to listen to it, to have your own opinion for sure!

At the end, “Casino”, the eponym track of the EP concludes it perfectly. It is a typical progressive track for Parquet Recordings, very consistent, with lovely piano notes and with an incomprehensible vocal loop saying “da da”. It is for sure the best track of the EP and I will certainly play it in my next monthly mix.

These producers rock and we are really proud to support them. Solee, manager of Parquet Recordings, has done an amazing work throughout the years and Boss Axis is one of the resultants…
