You will find in this category each week, a review on an "UFO" track that is breaking the news. All styles are on the “menu” of this category: minimal, house, electro, techno or even trance in some cases.
The topic will be supplemented by other albums following the latest electronic music news.
One the website objectives is to help you to discover unusual music tracks. The cover of "Around the World" by Daft Punk on piano fully meets this objective. The video that you can see in the following article will undoubtedly leave you on the spot, as it is a music UFO. The production is not really a remix, even if it contains the notes of massive track of Daft Punk, played entirely on piano by Maxence Cyrin.
Found by chance on the Internet, this production really comes out of nowhere. Easily unattachable to something known, it shows us the influence that electronic music can have on other musical genres, like classical music. If indeed there is a certain power of the piano, it is amplified by the video clip associated. The video is composed of naive shots of the 30’s, in a coherent way with the song.
This production is the work of Maxence Cyrin. He sat at his piano and composed the greatest classics of electronic music in an album soberly call "Novo Piano" and released in early April 2010. It offers us very interesting interpretations of these hits. Please note that the artist had already been noticed by his track "Modern Rhapsodies" in 2005. Below you will find a link to listen to the version of the track “D.A.N.C.E” bu Justice, on the piano too, in the line of the Daft Punk’s cover.
The article was worthwhile to be written, because it shows us another side of the electronic music. Have a good listening...
