Tobasko - Epic sax guy (Sexy Sax Remix)

« Epic sax Guy » was the buzz of the 2010 Eurovision, which took place in June. If you never heard about it, he is the Moldavian candidate with a sax that sways in a sensual way! This new dance hit on the web, with more than 5 million views on various sites, and then has literally spilled on various blogs, until some guys begin to remix the track. This is the case of a young Norwegian artist Tobasko, you probably do not know! In the following article I wiil review the work of this artist, his remix and the fantastic bomb track "The Phantom".

Actualites Electroniques, as we often said, particularly like to find new talent on the web, for introducing them to the greatest number. The discovery of Tobasko is a perfect example.

Internet has this great chance helping to discover new artists. Without the web, we could never found this talented producer. The Norwegian artist, distilled a remix here awfully good and awfully simple, based on a saxophone melody and fearsome beats and synth. This remix made in Fruity Loops 9, is so far the best one that circulates on the Net. It shows us the talent of a young Nordic producer. I've even noticed that the melody sometimes resembled to a Vitalic spirit and vibe... The only thing we can say, is that maybe it misses an extra boost to the bass, to make it stronger for the dancefloors.

Looking more deeply in his Soundcloud account, we discovered too a progressive and trance track that is so damned good. "The Phantom" is better than the sax remix, because he takes us into another dimension. There is also an interesting job done by Thomas Karlsen (his real name) on the compression. This track has no voice and will be perfect for a mid mixed session thanks to with a superbly break and a crazy synth.

This is also the magic of the Internet: discover talented artists at the other end of the world. "The Phantom" is one of the best tracks I heard this summer. I recently contact him for you, to spoke about his next tracks, and maybe to offer you some exclusive tracks. We will see. Do not hesitate to support him by joining his fan Facebook page. Enjoy!
