Berlin outfit Mjutah returns to the game with an housy and bouncy EP so rich with ethereal ambience that it would only seem suitable to be titled, “Nebula”. After the acclaim of their debut release “Horizon” earlier this year, Mjutah are stronger and more prepared than ever as they once again team up with Concorde Club Recordings. EP will be released at the beginning of December 2013.

It is primarily as a DJ that Benoît B. comes to the music and especially house music. He trained himself wherever he found turntables, in the bars of Paris with the collective Sound Session, inspired by Lil' Louis and Cajmere. Previously he had the chance to play at Folies Pigalle, Batofar, Rex and the Elysée Montmartre. Today, we have the chance to review his first EP "Night moves" evolving in a deep and groovy atmosphere that showcases sampled vocals. Finally, here is a big thanks to the Agency, HIM Media that has shared with us this excellent musical discovery, released earlier this week on the label Midnight Trouble/Believe.

Djoon is nestled in a vibrant ‘new’ district of eastern Paris and for near 10 years has played host to known and unknown local and international talents from the soulful New Yorker to the afro deep South African, from the pioneers of Chicago and Detroit to Berlin’s deep tech or eclectic London artists… From my point of view it is from far the best place in Paris to listen to some real house music. Always seeking talent, this temple of encounters between dancers and music lovers has seen its wooden dance floor trodden by clubbers from all over the world. To all my friends and fans. Here is my exclusive edit as Dj Aroy for the new track of Daft Punk with Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams. I will not claim it is the official track as some did yesterday! It is only a short edit with an intro, 2 breaks with vocals only, and an outro. I've extracted everything I can from online ads and collaborator videos mainly. Then I played with Ableton and its various filters, plus cutting and editings various parts.

It is one of the biggest surprises of the month that I received as a promo some days ago thanks to Rebel Butterfly PR: the new album of Daniel Steinberg. Sometimes you need to lose your mind, to regain your musical soul. For Berlin DJ/producer Daniel Steinberg, an intense touring period in the wake the releasing of his debut album “Shut Up” warranted just that. Suffering from a heavy tour comedown and questioning the direction of not just his music, but his ongoing desire to continue as a globetrotting artist, he locked himself in his East Berlin studio for a nine-day period of “self-imposed exile” that ultimately laid the foundations for his latest housy/funky opus, «Treptow» (a neighbourhood in Berlin).

With his distinctly beautiful debut EP “Treibholz”, the talented DJ and producer Florian Rietze is welcomed into the Steyoyoke family with open arms. Florian’s delicate blend of unique and eclectic sounds has captured the attention of many within the industry. The recognition received has been earned through Florian’s unique and skilled approach to producing music. This young DJ/producer has a bright future within the deep house scene. Isolated melodies drift ever closer to the beat to evoke a sense of melancholy with the opening title track “Treibholz”, that is the best of the EP, that will be released on the 28th of March.

Few labels enjoyed such a stellar time of it in 2012 as Andre Crom's increasingly influential OFF Recordings imprint. And with Swiss production duo Round Table Knights really coming to prominence of late, it's perhaps unsurprising that artist and imprint have now got together.
