You will find in this category each week, a review on a top vinyl which is breaking the news. All styles are on the “menu” of this category: minimal, house, electro, techno or even trance in some cases.
The topic will be supplemented by other albums following the latest electronic music news.
Once again the Swedish producers are under the spotlight. A few days ago, Eric Prydz aka Pryda announced the release of his new EP, consisting of 2 tracks "Niton" and "Vega". This EP will be pressed under his own label Pryda Friends, as the 19th release. After his excellent remix of Felix Da Housecat "Thee anthem”, Eric Prydz is back with "Niton" which should become rapidly one of the big music anthems of the month of August. For now, only listenable on his Soundcloud, it will be released in two days on Beaptort. He would then quickly become one of electro house hits of the moment, for sure!
After broadcasting an online video ad for a surprise, that you can see below, the artist who has recently left Sweden for England, has finally revealed his secret: a new EP composed of two track, with names still amazing. Just for you to remind, the latest productions by Pryda had been "M.S.B.O.Y.” and the excellent "The End".
Regarding these two new compositions, special mention to "Niton" that evolves in a progressive house style, following the atmosphere of "Thee Anthem" with a beautiful and funky bass. The samples are accompanied on the break with a charming piano melody. It should a good track for parties. It is also complemented by a voice very subtly used. We cannot wait to hear the track in its final version.
Concerning "Vega", uploaded by Eric, less than one hour ago (notice the reactivity of Actualites Electroniques), there is also in a funky ambience, but more peaceful. It consists of a small vocal and a good job of synthesizers, which underlines the strength and energy of the melody that is not without reminding us some of the notes of certain Deadmau5 track... Great track to enjoy then.
This EP finally unsurprisingly, remains faithful to the style that made the success of Pryda, which is for the greatest happiness of our ears...
