Stimming - Interview
3 years ago, I interviewed Stimming but I never had the chance to publish it. Here is, with a big delay, the words I had with him. Interviewing Stimming has been a real pleasure for Actualités Electroniques notably because at that time his label Diynamic Music was not so known. The famous German DJ and producer Stimming answers our exclusive interview some days ago. If there are few tracks I will never get bored of, “Funkworm” from Stimming is certainly one them. After releases on famous labels like Diynamic Music, Buzzin Fly and Freerange, Stimming has been considered as the best newcomer of the 2010 DJ Awards at Pacha Ibiza in September 2010.

Nicole Moudaber - Interview
Propelled to the forefront of today’s scene by her flawlessly executed sleazy house and techno sounds, Nicole Moudaber is now an unstoppable force. Some years ago, Carl Cox famously labelled her “the Most Underrated DJ of 2009”. Pete Tong is also a big fan, recently featuring Nicole as a “The Rising Star” on his Essential Selection. Moreover, the Moudaber mix of Sian & Mladen Tomec’s “Front Pocket” on Octopus and her version of Carl Cox “Chemistry” on Intec, which also scooped a prestigious IDMA at Miami’s Winter Music Conference, winning the award for ‘Best Minimal/Techno Track’.

John Lord Fonda - Interview
Native of Dijon like Vitalic, Cyril Thevenard aka John Lord Fonda, became famous with the French Touch wave that touched him with full force and sailed him to the activity of producer. His first release was the maxi "Vulcan" on a local label, Choice Records, in 1997. John Lord Fonda then tries with the Vitalic's Citizen Records. “Voltage” (2004) attracted the great French DJ that released it. In 2005, he produced "Erase My Anger", a dark house track that gets some success on the dancefloors. It was followed by the album "Debaser", that contained an amazing version of the song "Personal Jesus" by Depeche Mode.

Lemaitre - Interview
Lemaitre is a Norwegian indie-electronic duo who formed in the summer of 2010. Together, Ketil & Ulrik create raging disco beats, mixed with soft synth phrases and gripping melodies. When playing live they combine live instruments, not so live instruments and good old live vocals. In their short career, Lemaitre has gained a following from all over the world. The “Friendly Sound EP” was released at the end of 2010, and the duo are currently working on new material and playing shows wherever the music takes them. Lemaitre is influenced by artists like Justice, Phoenix, Daft Punk, Deadmau5, Noisia, Ratatat and Röyksopp.

Make The Girl Dance - Interview
Make The Girl Dance is a group of pop/electro, consisting of Campana (Greg Kozo) and a former TV host, Pierre Mathieu alia Perrin. They became very famous with their first music video "Baby, Baby, Baby" which buzzed very quickly on the web, with nearly 15 million views on Youtube, in 2 weeks. It featured some lovely ladies naked, rue Montorgueil in Paris during a normal day. Today, it is with great pleasure that we publish this exclusive interview, 3 years after we did it with them. This interview follows notably the ones of other duos like Hauk N’ Baum, M.A.N.D.Y., Catz N Dogz or Aly and Fila.

Hauk N Baum - Interview
The Dutch duo Hauk 'n Baum consists of the two very good friends Tristan Moons and Rinke Beckers. Growing up in Amersfoort, Tristan played the clarinet and Rinke played the drums. These days they aim to make impulsive, energetic and melodic techno. Their music is deep, moving, highly danceable and full of love. They have played at numerous parties around the Netherlands. Their first release, “Mascotte” / “Welmoed”, was released by Parquet Recordings in December 2011 and we liked it a lot. Other great tracks too have been released during 2012 like “Der Ereignies EP” or “X8ZF”.
