Wankelmut - Interview
Sometimes things unfold fast, very fast. In autumn 2011 Jacob Dilßner aka Wankelmut was a young 24-year old student and part-time dj who had just relocated to his hometown Berlin to study philosophy and political science. Then one night he started playing around with one of his favourite songs in Ableton Live, cutting, filtering and adding a simple 4/4 groove until Asaf Avidan & The Mojos’ bitter-sweet folk song „One Day/Reckoning Song“ turned into what has now become one of house music’s biggest anthems of 2012. But back then, Jacob was totally unaware of the impact his groundbreaking remix would have. Today we have the chance to interview the hottest producer of the moment in Europe.

Catz N Dogz - Interview
If you don’t know them by now, their full Polish names are Grzegorz Demiañczuk and Wojciech Tarañczuk but you can call them Greg and Voitek. Soon after that, they began to produce records together as the techno centric “3 Channels,” eventually evolving into Catz n’ Dogz - a grooving, category-free mixture of modern music. The interview followed notably the ones of other famous producers like DJ Hell, Extrawelt, Marc Romboy, or M.A.N.D.Y..

Fritz Kalkbrenner - Interview
It’s no secret that Fritz Kalkbrenner is a full-fledged soul boy. But with a voice like his, how could things have turned out any other way? Soul music is the foundation of all his musical endeavours. And like an emotional and aesthetic thread that he weaves through his music, soul, in fact, holds together his diverse musical influences such as hip hop, techno and house. At the beginning of the 1990s his older brother Paul and his best friend Sascha Funke went crazy for techno beats, while hip hop artists such as Eric B. & Rakim, KRS One and Wu-Tang Clan were Fritz’s heroes who could do no wrong.
