The remix comes back to the musical sources of Sebastien Leger, with a completely techno and underground atmosphere quiet similar to his old release “Bad clock”. What a pleasure to hear these sounds and samples once again. Indeed, Sebastien offered us these last months more progressive tracks on his own label Mistakes Music.

John Dahlback has just released his new EP composed of "Olympia" and "Matterhorn". It is a homecoming for the Swedish producer, with two tracks released on the new house label he runs: Mutant Recordings. This 4th released has been then followed by the electronic production made with his buddy Avicii under the project Jovicii and its excellent “Don’t hold back”, that we reviewed some weeks ago.

I was watching the news on TV today, when I discovered the suicide of a member of the group Where Où est le Swimming Pool. Author, among others, of the track "Dance the way i feel" released in 2009, the British group, which played this weekend at Pukkelpop festival (Belgium), has been dealing with a tragic event, with the death of Charles Haddon. The group that will normally appear at the festival Rock en Seine in Paris at the end of August should updated its upcoming dates. It is an opportunity for Actualités Electroniques, to come back on their successful track and its remix of Armand Van Helden, as a tribute to the band.

A few days ago I received in my mailbox a link to watch the new clip of The Toxic Avenger "N’importe comment”. The track whose features Orelsan was immediately a buzz on the net, with already almost 210,000 views on Dailymotion. With a big promotion to support the clip, this video that evolves in an design atmosphere of the Justice’s video "D.A.N.C.E." is driven by augmented reality, with many references that are easily associated with Facebook. For music, it is an electro house track, fairly effective.

Once again the Swedish producers are under the spotlight. A few days ago, Eric Prydz aka Pryda announced the release of his new EP, consisting of 2 tracks "Niton" and "Vega". This EP will be pressed under his own label Pryda Friends, as the 19th release. After his excellent remix of Felix Da Housecat "Thee anthem”, Eric Prydz is back with "Niton" which should become rapidly one of the big music anthems of the month of August. For now, only listenable on his Soundcloud, it will be released in two days on Beaptort. He would then quickly become one of electro house hits of the moment, for sure!
