Benjamin Damage and Doc Daneeka - They!Live
Two Welsh guys taking the techno-world. Mixing several genres and it all seems to come naturally. With their collaborative album “They! Live” Benjamin Damage and Doc Daneeka released the third debut album on the Modeselektor’s Label “50 weapons“ in addition to Cosmin TRG’s “Simultat" and Anstam’s “Dispel Dances”. Even though “50 weapons” is still quite a young label with about a dozen EP’s and the previously mentioned albums, they were well received, and left a strong impression on both critics and fans. It seems like the hype around the newfound success doesn’t bother the producer-duo much!

Toolroom Knights - Mixed by John Dahlback
With an insatiable appetite for serving up huge melodic anthems and an undeniable talent for delivering world class DJ sets that combine impeccable music selection with exceptional mixing skills, John Dahlbäck is one of the most revered names in House music. His ‘Toolroom Knights’, that will be released on the 6th of February, is testament to this young Swede’s talent, weaving his way through various styles with a number of his own exclusive productions, 38 carefully selected tracks alongside two superb mixes. The album features 3 new exclusives by the man himself, the first being “Feel It”, a stomping tech groover with an unforgettable driving top-line.

Crookers - Dr Gonzo
Let's talk about the Crookers’ album, "Dr. Gonzo" that has been released under Southern Fried some weeks ago. Phra and Bot (Crookers) describe it with the Italian word "accrocchio," that in English can be translated as a "kludge". A kludge is a quick-and-dirty solution, a clumsy, yet effective, way to solve a problem, using parts that are cobbled together. This new album is a combination of completely unrelated and random ideas that came together to produce a different kind of dance music. Just as one might expect, the barrier to a new sound has been broken on Planet Crookers.

WhoMadeWho - Knee Deep
Tomas Barfod, Tomas Hoffding and Jeppe Kjellberg aka WhoMadeWho have paved an illustrious career spanning numerous singles and two acclaimed full length albums. They have certainly been one of the few acts in the past decade to successfully redefine the term “crossover” in music thanks to their genre hopping creative tact. This year, in April, WhoMadeWho team up with Kompakt to bring you this very special release, their new album “Knee deep” that was certainly one of the best of the year, even if I didn’t have time to write a review about it before.

Axel Bartsch - Experiment Musik
Dj and producer Axel Bartsch has released some days ago his sophomore album, “Experiment musik” on his berlin-based label Sportclub on October 18, 2011. Bitten by the techno bug relatively early, Axel Bartsch had already spent the better part of his youth listening to the sounds of Soft Cell, Parliament Funkadelic and Depeche Mode when he started organizing some of the biggest raves in northern Germany in the mid 90s, introducing the sounds of Dave Clarke, Dj Hell and Monika Kruse to thousands in eccentric venues like abandoned theatres and horse-racing tracks.

This dynamic duo has quite literally devastated dancefloors this year with their pounding techno productions cleaning up the download charts on countless occasions. More precisely, Umek has cemented his status as a Toolroom favourite, with his acclaimed ‘Toolroom Knights’ compilation and a forward thinking DJ set at TK5, two huge highlights in this hero’s illustrious career.
