Dear readers! Maxime Dangles, Paul Nazca and Florian Combe are very pleased to announce their first release on their new label “SIGN INDUSTRY”. After the interview a few weeks ago of the southern producer Paul Nazca, the deadly trio of the South of France is back, launching this new imprint. It will be brought alive thanks to the first techno EP of the label "This Is The hand EP" which hooked us immediately. This EP will be available in vinyl and mp3 at the end of May.
After spending ten years at the head of Scandium Records, a techno label which has greatly influenced French electronic music, Paul Nazca is back with a new challenge: starting from scratch and launching a new label with Florian Combe and his studio pal Maxime Dangles, the guy who is behind the project Danzca with Paul.
The deal: music first, fresh, dynamic and varied. The artistic choices are guided by the heart and the envy to pass on their passion. Paul will open the ball with his first release, followed by Electric Rescue in a few weeks then new talents will be next. So, keep your ears wide open!
More precisely, here is a review about each track. First, “Scale of Sky” is a strong and powerful piece of techno, a timeless track made for the dancefloor. Peak time burner!! Then « Future Where Are Girls » takes us back in the 90s with a techno atmosphere composed with the famous TR909 bass, used especially by Daft Punk and Jeff Mills, with a slow tempo but a great raise leading to an euphoric mood. There is also a dark voice that creates a very industrial ambiance! Finally, "The End" concludes the EP with its evocative title. This is a pretty cool track with a sublime melody surrounded by deep basses. The best way to land at the end of the party!
The EP is already appreciated and played by Laurent Garnier, Michael Mayer (the boss of Kompakt Record), DJ Feadz, Dave Clarke, Stephan Bodzin or Electric Rescue and Ramon Tapia... Nothing much.
