And now, the 5th album of Laurent Garnier has just been released a few days ago, with a complicated name: "Tales of Kleptomaniac”. The first thing that attracts us about this album was his cover, graphically very successful. Laurent Garnier is without no doubt one of the most popular French and Dj producer in the world. But it is also an outstanding musician with many talents.
If indeed, he makes the unanimity with his sets around the world famous and notably thanks to his performance during the Techno Parade in Paris in 1998, he is not so much well-known as a producer. His previous albums had been far from whipping up crowds because of their experimental sides. Emblematic figure of French electronic music scene and pioneer in his category, Laurent is a producer who constantly questions himself seeking to establish himself as an eclectic artist. Ambassador of the techno movement in France, he was a precursor of the electronic wave in France 15 years ago. Laurent has scoured every style taking risks. Despite the many criticisms that have been made over him, Mr Garnier always gave the best of himself.
