The new production of Yousef "Come home" is the third part of the 10th series of Cocoon Recordings, which makes this time a tribute to the modern British techno scene. Yousef is a popular producer in minimal and tech-house world in England. Originally from Liverpool, he recently collaborated with Carl Cox and X-Press 2. This track produced under Cocoon Germany has been particularly playlisted by Pete Tong. It is also on the compilation of Sven Vath “The Sound Of The Tenth Season".
2009 was a full year for our English guy. Indeed, he made a world tour DJ, but also a debut album in June 2009 entitled "A Collection Of Scars and Situations" on his own label Circus Recordings as well as numerous tracks on recordings like Renaissance, Plastic City, Berwick Street or Cocoon, playlisted by all the biggest worldwide DJs as Dubfire, Carl Cox, Steve Lawler, Adam Beyer, Nick Curly, Sasha and John Digweed.
2010 begins just as strong with the release of this new track, which should be one of the music attractions this winter 2009-2010, in the minimal and tech house world. As we have said, you can also found that production on the double album "The Sound Of The Tenth Season" mixed by Sven Vath, that playlisted the biggest track that was played in Ibiza during summer 2009. On this album you can find too for instance the excellent track of Spencer Parker "The Beginning" remixed by Michel Cleis such as Umek "Pravim haos”.
As for "Come home”, it is a production with a rhythmic crescendo which is composed of strings that meet piano sound, with a little reverb effect, very pleasant. Following a slow start, there is also tribal beats which give all his musical depth to the musical production. It will make its effect in a club, that's for sure!
Finally, please note that there is on the B face, a techno track from Tim Green called “Lone time”.
