You will find in this category each week, a review on a MP3 track or vinyl track which is breaking the news. All styles are on the “menu” of this category: minimal, house, electro, techno or even trance in some cases.
The topic will be supplemented by other albums following the latest electronic music news.
Sia is a discreet artist and her work is always quality. "Clap your hands" is her latest track. It will be officially released on June 7, 2010 on her new album “We are born”. The track "Clap your hands" has just been remixed by the well-known Dj Fred Falke, who gives us a filtered house version which is terribly effective with the voice of the Australian singer, author of the famous "Drink to get drunk" and more recently of "Breathe Me "a song that breaks your heart.
The singer started her career in the early 90s in a group of acid house. She is now back to the front of the music scene with her fourth album, two years after the release of "Some People Have Real Problems" in 2008. This new album is produced by Greg Kurstin, who had already made her last album in 2008. He was also the producer of Lily Allen's album "It's Not Me, It's You," but also "Circus" by Britney Spears or the latest one by Kylie Minogue.
Concerning the remixes, the French DJ delivers a captivating version of "Clap your hands", with an easy house quiet catchy. Second single to be released on the web, we catch a glimpse of a disco vibe well exploited. But it is the voice of Sia which strengthen the track that becomes completely crazy! "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh clap your hands" gets into your head. Fred Falke uses simple house music samples so effective. It is therefore a clean production, characteristic of a DJ and remixer that we don’t need to present anymore.
Regarding the original track, you will find below the clip completely crazy and cheeky, with puppets all in color. They will take you into the wonderful world of the cat of Alice in Wonderland. We wonders what took the producer before writing this script!
Finally, please note that in addition to this remix of "Clap your hands", there are other remixes like the one of Diplo. We therefore looked forward to the release of this album, to be able to review it, even if other tracks are already available on Youtube notably.
