Miike Snow "Silvia" remixed by Sebastian Ingrosso and Dirty South remix is a little electro gem. After "Animal" and "Black & Blue", "Silvia" is the third single extracted from the eponymous album "Miike Snow”. We had talked recently of this Swedish group because of their collaboration with Crookers for the track « Remedy ». For several days now their new track "Silvia" is available in single and remixed by the Swedish guy Sebastian Ingrosso and Dirty South. In addition, exclusive remixes are also available on iTunes with version by Felix Da Housecat and Sinden.

Miike Snow was known for the record, first under the nickname of Bloodshy & Avant. Indeed, they collaborated with Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Kelis and even Britney Spears on "Toxic" which was awarded by Grammy Awards. The year 2009 was the one of their explosion, with the release of their album mentioned above and the many remixes made for their production "Animal" released in February 2009 that we already reviewed too.

3rd track on this eponymous album, Miike Snow released in May 2009 in Sweden, then in October 2009 in England, "Silvia", that had been remixed too by the Swedish duo Hugg & Pepp who are two cousins, John and Jesper Dahlback!

Regarding the remix of Sebastian Ingrosso and Dirty South, we have found some similarities with samples of their previous track "Laktos”. The track evolves between progressive and house music, using the famous "psssschhhh" sound that you can hear in nightclubs when a smoke machine starts. Please note also that in this remix the original singer's voice is preserved and even amplified. So in the break for a few moments there is the solo male voice with some sublime piano notes to support it. Just fantastic! Then the track remains dancing, but differs from many by a really pure.

This track will certainly buzz in the upcoming weeks and it shows that Sebastian Ingrosso and Dirty South are about to start the year 2010 with fanfare and music.
