After two years and a half of waiting, Marc Romboy and Stephan Bodzin are finally back for their ninth collaboration "Triton". Their previous collaborations have given birth to songs like "Hydra", "Phobos", "Ferdinand" or the monumental "Callisto", which remains for us the indisputable and undisputed reference of modern minimal music.
"Triton is the lead single from a new album co-produced by Marc Romboy and Stephan Bodzin that will be released on February 2011. It will be entitled "Luna". It is set for release on triple CD and six vinyl records. Accompanying the album there will be 20 incredible remixes from artists including Moritz von Oswald, Chris Liebing, Joris Voorn, Minilogue, Gui Boratto and many others. The release of "Luna" will also be followed by an exclusive live tour in spring...
The track is like a melodic flight! It gradually rises in intensity with a rhythm that takes you from the guts thanks to its dark and underground side, but still easily danceable. The few notes that you can hear shows us the extent of the talent of both artists. The production then takes you on another planet outside our solar system. Indeed, "Triton" evolves into an unknown dimension. So, it should quickly become a reference in the playlist of many techno and/or minimal DJs.
72nd release of the label ran by Marc Romboy, this production is expected by a large and demanding audience. This will be probably one of the biggest releases of this season. We really look forward to hearing the full versions and then the album in a few months. Marc Romboy and Stephan Bodzin form with no doubt the most explosive duo of minimal / techno movement.
