Earlier this week, Dylan Eiland aka Le Castle Vania has offer to his Twitter fans his latest remix of La Roux "In for the kill". The Roux is an English duo of electro pop founded by Elly Jackson and Ben Langmaid. They hit the chart in 2009 thanks to the release of their second album "The Roux", which was very good, with singles like "I'm Not Your Toy" and "In for the Kill" precisely, with an incredible remix of Skream, playlisted by Dj Tiesto.
Regarding Le Castle Vania, causing the review of this remix, he is a U.S. producer from Atlanta, following the electronic music trend lead by Justice, MSTRKRFT, Simian Mobile Disco, Busy P, Uffie & Feadz, Kavinsky, Soulwax, Surkin, Para One, The Presets, Steve Aoki, or Crystal Castles. He became know for his remix of « Black Eyes » from Snowden.
Regarding the English duo La Roux, we discovered them through their hit "In for the Kill" remixed by Skream, with the magical voice of Elly Jackson. There was also the track "I'm not your toy," with its remix by Data that ignited dancefloors some months ago. "In for the kill" had been also remixed by Lifelike and The Twelves.
The version of Le Castle Vania is a little less trash than his own productions, as the latest one "Nobody gets out alive." Indeed, his remixes are dancefloor than his own. In this remix, the impact of voice is maintained and is amplified by a good kick and a good sample of electronic music. Fast enough in its rhythm, there is a break that will easily make you dance until the dawn. Cardiac refrain!
Once again La Roux returns to the front of the electronic music scene against their will, with this new remix from Le Castle Vania. We hope to see a new production of the English duo out in 2010...
