You will find in this category each week, a review on a MP3 track or vinyl track which is breaking the news. All styles are on the “menu” of this category: minimal, house, electro, techno or even trance in some cases.
The topic will be supplemented by other albums following the latest electronic music news.
Discovered through the player provided by the website of the German label Get Physical, here's an article on the recent production of Junior Boyz: "No kinda man". This is a Canadian group of electro and indie pop who offers us a very big track. The track is not necessarily new, but it made the headlines of the electronic music scene in 2008, when it was released. Unfortunately we only discover it today. What a pity!
This group has already released 3 albums "Last Exit" in 2004, "So This Is Goodbye" in 2006 and his latest opus "Begone Dull Care" in 2009, First, “No kinda man” featured on the album group in 2006. Then he was reworked in March 2008 with a remix for the series "Physical's Body Language mix” and it was also on the sixth volume of the Get Physical Recording compilation.
The duo composed of Matt Didemus and Jeremy Greenspan created a track rather dark, cloudy atmosphere with a delicious synth and a deaf voice both calm and imploring ... Everything is melodic and wish to be considered as a lascivious walk. It has also been released on Kitsune Recording.
The track was released on an EP which also included two remixes of Jonas and Chloe. The remix of Jonas is pretty funky and a lot more rhythmic than the original. The remix of Chloe takes the original by adding effects of metallic percussions. A very good song to play in after session.
