What a track, what a f***ing track. First State "Brave" remixed by Jonas Steur is the new trance bomb that we have just discovered. Released in September 2009, along with other remixes like those of the Hungarian Djs Myon & Shane 54, the track features one of the iconic trance voice, the one of Sarah Howells. Her voice was for instance too on the track "Find Yourself" by John O'Callaghan. The remixes of this track "Brave" was released on the label Magik Muzik Holland.

"Brave" is the first release of First State as a solo group. Indeed, Ralph Barendse disassociated himself from the group which originally consisted of him and Sander Van Dien. Sander has nevertheless decided to continue the adventure with this first production, "Brave," which, we must say is a true marvel. He managed to keep the spirit of First State both progressive and trance music.

This track in its original version had won the "Future Favorite" of the Armin Van Buuren "A State of Trance Episode 422” radio show. This production has won this honor, with a majority of votes which has never been seen since the beginning of the show, 8 years ago. A wide plebiscite therefore, largely justified.

Regarding the track itself, it evolves in a progressive atmosphere that gives considerable space to the sublime voice of Sarah Howells. You can also recognizes the pads already used in their previous productions of First State, which are like a trademark. There is only a small pleasant beat which complements the track. It will be definitely a hit at Ibiza this summer. The title takes us into another world, with a voice that offers astonishing variations.

It's definitely our favorite track for the moment. We urge you to go listen and play this track during your mix sessions to the delight of clubbers.
