A lot of people have often looked for an artist who might succeed Thomas Bangalter in terms of musical quality. If there is one artist who is unanimous on this point he is probably Louis La Roche. If you think it’s a French name, you will be disappointed to know that the artist is English and in addition he is only 16 years old! He created in early 2009 a global buzz spreading a free EP "Peach EP". The young English prodigy offers here a remix of Don Diablo "I'm not from France”.
The track is as a nod to the buzz of early 2009, because a lot of people had taken the artist for a French guy. Unfortunately or not, he is English. The original track was released on the 4th album of Don Diablo entitled "Life is a festival". This album from the Dutch producer was released late October 2008.
The remixed track is similar to the previous productions of English producer. The track is fresh with a filtered house, with a minimalist voice. Louis La Roche has revived this “French touch” style that was the rage in the late 90s. The track pretty short, is about three minutes and thirty seconds, gives very quickly an overview of the extended talent of the English artist. While some criticize Louis La Roche to take a music already used about 10 years ago, he adds nevertheless a personal touch that we like very much here.
Louis La Roche considered as the revelation of the beginning of 2009, shows that he is once again on the top of the electronic music scene, especially as he is young, his future might be better very soon....
