Britpop legend Jarvis Cocker lends his signature vocals to "Synchronize", the kickoff single from Discodeine's first full-length album out February 14th on Dirty / Pschent Recordings. This album, produced but the French duo composed of Pilooski and Pentile will be available in France in March 2011. Concerning the track itself, it has been released since December 6, with remixes on DFA Records some days ago with remixed versions of Jam Factory.

Discodeine is one of the most anticipated duos, the brainchild of two musical producers to haunt our collective conscious in recent years: Pilooski, an already well-known fixture amongst the Parisian music scene, best known for his “dirty edits” series. He is also well-known for his collaborations and remixes for LCD Soundsystem, Jarvis Cocker, Iggy pop, Brian Ferry, Nina Simone... There is also the other half of the duo Pentile, an equally respected musician/producer in his own right (and until now best known for his involvement with Octet and France Copeland).

Moreover, they have already released 3 acclaimed EP's as well as some kick ass remixes for Metronomy, Whomadewho, Bot'ox, Photonz... They now tour the world (Moscow, London, Berlin, Beyrouth...) and work on their debut album. Discodeine is about club music and intensity, voodoo, chicago house, futuristic disco, jackin' techno, analog basslines, ring modulation, krautdisco, mascarpone and chianti!

Concerning the music, it is a track that mixes some violins and pianos samples. It mixes house and pop atmospheres like a musical crossroad between the French guys from Air and The Gossip. To go with this new single, there is a clip that has been directed by JF Julian. It depicts various situations in hotel rooms like a shower and girl making a strip tease….
