Darling Records, leading French Touch House record label is back! The team was quiet the last few months working hard on several hot new projects that will be released this year. Indeed, Darling Records presents Axel Le Baron & Kurbatov new EP entitled “Menace EP”. This new release has been release on Beatport the 10th of May and is also available on all good digital websites. Label founders teamed up to bring you tracks fully loaded of vintage synths, great beats and fresh vocals that will be stucked in your head. In house music they trust!
This release introduces a new sound for Darling Records, house music pop flavoured without breaking with label roots. Purely in the early style of house music.
Each song has been remixed by top notch producers such as Play Paul, Big Dope P and Romain Tranchart from Modjo for 3 different approaches more dancefloor-friendly but still remain true to original songs spirit.
Great feedbacks have been emerged from the best lovely DJs/producers like Armand Van Helden, Alex Gopher, Don Rimini, His Majesty André, Chrissy Murderbot, Bag Raiders, Franki Chan (Iheartcomix) and The Henchmen to named just few.
More precisely about the track itself, “Menace” will for sure remember you the house music of the 90’s with a mix of atmosphere between the Daft Punk and the Knight Club, with fantastic riff of electric guitar and filtered bass. But what about the Big Dope remix? Best track of the EP for sure, an ovni of electronic music, adding to the original a hip hop vocal fitting perfectly with the samples that looks as the of used in Daft Punk’s “Human after all”. Massive track. Then “In love” in its original version and the remix one is more classic, but very melodic and sweet. “Music Lights” concluded this crazy EP in a more darky atmosphere, notably the remix of Play Paul.
The Big Dope P Remix is very impressing, a must have to discover for every house music lover…
