You will find in this category each week, a review on a MP3 track or vinyl track which is breaking the news. All styles are on the “menu” of this category: minimal, house, electro, techno or even trance in some cases.
The topic will be supplemented by other albums following the latest electronic music news.
The latest release on Kid Massive’s burgeoning label Get Down Recordings comes in the form of Ali Payami and his latest monster “Cillan” with remixes from Damian William and Da Fresh that is a perfect techno/house track. It has been released at the end of January, the 27th of January 2011 to be exact. Swedish born Payami comes from a rich and musical background, which he uses to devastating effect in this synth driven winter warmer!
What better way to welcome in the New Year than with a solid slab of trance infused house music that is sure to put hands in the air and destroy clubs and stadiums alike? With the original delivering on epic proportions, the remixes have a lot to live up to… and they don’t fail to deliver!
There is only one way to describe Damian William’s take… Massive. Building towards an ever-ascending climax, it drops into a crushing bass-line that is comparable only to a wrecking ball. Da Fresh on the other hand takes things down a notch with a more stripped back approach, using teasing synths from the original and then laying them down over subtler house beats.
This is yet another must buy package from a label that is fast becoming one of the UK’s most respected house imprints. Don’t miss this EP.
